About the Series
In black and white photography, graphic
shapes and gradients of gray allow an image to transcend busy reality.
My Black and White series captures the fundamental shapes
and lines of the subjects. The result is a collection of serene,
meditative images. I have used modern digital photography and modern
techniques, such as lomography, to create these pieces. The
monochromatic presentation and use of nature as subject provide each
photograph with a timeless gravity.
